Cyber Concepts and its Chief Software Architect Ms. Krishnajina Rajapathirane, were the local IT expert for the ADB funded project, Capacity Development for the Power Sector Regulation, where Mecados EMI of Spain was the main consulting company together with Resource Management Associate. As the national IT expert we assisted in matters relating to:

  1. Licensing through:
    • Assisting PUCSL (Public Utility Services Commission Sri Lanka) in establishing an effective PIS for issuing and monitoring licensing benchmarks with provisions for gradual strengthening of data requirements;
    • Assisting CEB in establishing an effective MIS at each regulatory and compliance unit of each FBU for compliance benchmarks with provision for gradual strengthening of data acquisition;
  2. Tariff setting through:
    • Assisting PUCSL in establishing an effective MIS for tariff data collection, monitoring benchmarks and processes.
    • Assisting CEB in establishing an effective MIS at each FBU (depending on the function) for generation dispatch system, metering, billing and / or settlement systems.
